After 30 years working for large companies in the optical industry, we wanted to build something of our own.

We’re Tim and Hannah, husband and wife for 32 years and the team behind Coastal Shades. Today, we’re building a business around what we love: working together, making memories, and helping people find their next favorite pair of shades.

For us, it’s about more than sunglasses. It’s about personal connections and bringing a little happiness to someone’s day.
